Backstory

Celia was born into a family of celebrities. The youngest daughter of Woo Tae So (The Heartthrob Healer) and Kang Ji Hye (The Melancholic Siren), she only made an appearance under the spotlight at the age of 18 as an extra for a Television show. To many, it may seem like the appropriate age to start a life under the spotlight, yet given the burden of her parents’ fame and her older brother's growing career, everyone questions why the youngest is being held back.The world didn’t know that Celia was the product of a broken family. Ji Hye had left her biological father because of the difference in their lifestyles. Her father wanted Celia to be raised to grow up as a fit heiress — wherein her childhood could be completely stripped away. Hence, Ji Hye flees with Celia, unable to bring her younger child with her.Growing up in the Woo household, Celia was reprimanded for ever initiating her passion for music. Other than for school activities or such, she was not encouraged to pursue her interest. She loathed being held back when it was clear that the world would soon learn about her existence anyway.Unaware that the true nature of her stepfather’s resistance is because he refuses that the Jeong family will find their heir sooner. Ji Hye lives in conflict, wanting to bring her daughter to fame yet needing to wait until the right age before it could be settled that she would be free from her ex-husband’s soulless desires.

Headcanons

Zero Social Cues. Despite the spotlight on her family, Celia's always been kept behind closed doors. Homeschooled until middle school and graduated in a private college school (Celia's sure her parents funded the school extra to reprimand them from exposing her identity to the media). It's quite obvious from the sweet and cautious personality towards strangers that Celia's still trying adapt to different environments.Mommy issues. Celia had an instant falling out with her stepfather after an argument regarding the career she first wanted to pursue. He insisted to take on a practical degree. That said Celia often leaned to her mother most. Even if they didn't get along most of the time, she was still treated as a beloved daughter.Enclosed Circles. With the numerous secrets her family keep, Celia turns to her friends the most. Despite being warm and welcoming to almost everyone, she shows an obvious favor towards people she holds closer to her heart.

Pre-established Relationships

Eros Maverick. Thanks to Clementia, Celia has found a person to rely on when in need of an escape.. Literally. Being restricted at home only meant one thing, and that is a mischievous daughter grew up in it. Celia learned how to literally escape home and come back swiftly without ever getting caught, all through Maverick. The two also bonded with their little escapes.

Quentin. A common friend met through Maverick, much to her surprise. Nothing much was eventful the day they met, just Eros with his head down a sink puking his guts out while Quentin and Celia got to know each other awkwardly. Honestly, Celia originally was calling Clementia that night, given that she was Eros’ emergency contact, but after learning that the woman was unavailable, Maverick playfully mentioned a “Q” and muttered the contact number. Que, or Ice, as she likes to call him, is her go-to person when she needs days off from her family, Eros’ girl problems, or the industry life, which sadly involves Clementia.

Alexius Jairon. Being caged in by her family, there was already an evident space between Celia and the real world. So imagine her surprise when she's pulled into an interrogation room, questioned about crimes she wasn't even aware that took place and learning that her family wasn't even informed. Alexius realizes their mistake and allows the woman to go on with her life, but upon learning that the young lad was the boss of the company she clings onto him like a leech, filled with curiosity.

Clementia. Celia found it difficult to find friends among the sea of celebrities she met through the years. Given the multiple warnings by her family and the things she’s witnessed growing up, Celia was aware of the dangers of certain personal affiliations with multiple people, Having standards was something she already had when looking for people to get close with. During her usual stroll backstage after a performance, Celia found The IT Girl Glam Clementia Idony. Despite being one of the most influential individuals of their generation, Clementia carried a humble and warm vibe around her. Instantly drawing on Celia’s curiosity, she approached the model that day. Soon enough, they’ve become the media’s favourite and role model of friendship among the industry.

Maddison Keiara. Acting rebellious towards her family, Celia seeks help from external sources to find the truth of her birth. Along discovering the chaos her mother pulled her out of — she also discovers the identity of her younger sister. Realizing how Maddie is now the one to catch the responsibilities that was meant for her and that they share a dream regarding music, would Celia give up her dreams for her beloved sister?
